On the 10th, Kim Dong-gu, a member of the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Provincial Council (Gunsan 2), visited Poonglim Pharmatech, a leading domestic medical device manufacturer, and held an on-site meeting with company representatives to observe the production process.

Poonglim Pharmatech gained attention during the COVID-19 pandemic by developing the Least Residual Dose (LDS) syringe, improving global vaccination efficiency. Recently, it has been recognized for its competitiveness in the global market, including signing a $50 million export contract at the World Korean Business Conference.

About ten people attended the on-site meeting, including Provincial Assembly Member Kim Dong-gu, Yoon Yeo-bong, President of the Jeonbuk Autonomous Province Economic and Trade Promotion Agency, Jo Mi-hee, President of Poonglim Pharmatech, and other executives and employees.

Through this, Assemblyman Kim Dong-gu discussed the difficulties faced in the business operations process and the necessary support measures.

The meeting also featured a wide range of opinions on various regulations that hinder corporate growth, issues with securing personnel, and export support measures.

Assemblyman Kim Dong-gu said, "Only when companies grow can the local economy develop together," adding, "I expect Poonglim Pharmatech to create a turning point for Jeonbuk Province's export performance, which is showing a positive trend."

Afterwards, they toured the production facilities firsthand to inspect the product manufacturing process and encouraged the on-site staff.

Representative Kim reiterated, "We will seek ways to expand support so that Gunsan can create an optimal environment for small and strong enterprises to grow, and we will do our utmost to resolve the difficulties faced by companies."
